This course is pursued after completing the <strong>Commercial Pilot License (CPL)<\/strong> and is a critical step toward mastering airline-oriented skills.<\/p><p>The MEIR program provides a blend of in-depth theoretical instruction and practical flight training, focusing on flying instrument approaches and managing complex multi-engine aircraft systems. Students gain proficiency in handling multi-engine aircraft under instrument flight rules (IFR), enhancing their situational awareness and operational competence in all weather conditions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1e90c9f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1e90c9f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Upon successfully completing the course, you will be eligible for a <strong>Technical Type Rating (TTR)<\/strong> and <strong>Instrument Rating (IR)<\/strong> on twin-engine aircraft, enabling you to advance toward commercial airline operations.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-eefd77d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"eefd77d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The approximate duration of the full-time MEIR course is <strong>6 to 8 weeks<\/strong>, requiring a minimum of <strong>40 training hours<\/strong> as stipulated by the <strong>Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) PEL Regulation 78<\/strong>.
