Happy happy days 👏🏾👏🏾our Director Eng. Samson Aketch has joined the ranks and completed his GFT. This has been a testament of hardwork and resilience. Mr. Aketch acquired his Student Pilot License as a young man over 30 years ago but due to funding his dream to fly the skies was cut short and he resorted to giving his all to his engineering career. With a budding career in Engineering having achieved over ten licenses and ratings for different aircrafts he also runs and owns KAC Flying school and KAC school of Engineering. Today marks the day Engineer Aketch added the rank Captain Aketch to his already long list of accolades and accomplishments. To more safe landings boss 🔥🛩️🛩️@samsonaketch @mulirosamaon

Flying in malindi has many benefits and advantages

Flying in malindi has many benefits and advantages to the pilot either one on training or one who is renewing their license.
1. You are assured of clear skies 95% of the time which means it is very rare to go a full day without flying due to weather.
2. The airspace in Malindi experiences 70% less traffic than the airspace in Wilson Airport. This means you can practice as many touch and goes in an hour as your aircraft allows also forced go arounds are almost impossible.
3. Malindi airport only has two schools based at the airport which means you can start up for circuits immediately you enter the aircraft. It is very rare to be told to stand by for start up by the tower.
4. Mombasa International Airport is a few minutes away meaning students who are working on their Instrument Rating can practice ILS approach etc comfortably in Moi.
5. Low Density Altitude experienced in the Kenyan coast means improved aircraft performance therefore you enjoy your aircraft much more. It is almost as if your aircraft has an upgraded engine.
6. SCENIC FLYING. This is the term aviators give to flying over beautiful landscapes and basically enjoying God's creation. In Malindi you fly along the Kenyan Coastline and I can assure you that nothing beats that feeling.
